Alexa Fortune '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexa Fortune and I am a sophomore at Hauppauge High School, in Hauppauge NY, class of 2026. I have always dreamed of playing basketball in college and will continue to put in the work to make this a reality. My work ethic, versatility and coachable attitude separates me from other recruits. I was a starter on my varsity basketball team as a freshmen, and made All-League. I have also played soccer since the age of 4 and currently on my high school varsity soccer team. I love to compete and sports allow me to do that. 

I am not only defined by athletics, but my academics as well. I am a member of the Junior National Honor Society and currently taking several advanced courses. I believe it is extremely valuable to a well rounded person and always continue to grow and get better. My parents have instilled this in me, nothing is given and everything is earned.
