Nina Terzakis '17 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach,

My name is Nina Terzakis and I'm a junior at Nyack High School in New York.  I play on the varsity volleyball and basketball teams.  Even though I enjoy playing volleyball, it doesn't compare to the love I have for basketball.  Since age nine, playing basketball has been my outlet and my favorite thing to do.  Facing injury that ended my season this year has made me realize just how important the game is to who I am.  Not only does having a rigorous basketball schedule keep me on top of my schoolwork, but it also provides a vital social experience that has allowed me to meet people who have become my best friends.  I would absolutely love to be able to continue my career to the college level and improve my overall game and leadership skills.  Playing at the college level would be a privilege that I would be grateful for and would also fulfill a lifelong dream of mine.
