What makes me  a good candidate? What makes me different from my peers?

To answer in a few words, I obdurate in the face of adversity. I do not fall to attrition.  I know that hard work and dedication are preached to athletes and students alike, but very few  understand that becoming a great athlete,  academic, or even person is not about achieving a status, but rather, its about never ceasing the pursing it. It doesn't matter how many free throws one makes in a basketball game, if one stops practicing . Whereas many aspire to reach a goal then grow complacent, I seek to constantly better myself, as an athelete, student, and person.  Wheter  my team and I win or lose a basketball game, I practice my free throws promptly after. Because its not about how many shots you make, its about how long you keep shooting that will determine if you will make it or not. No matter how tired I mat get from school or practice, I always keep shooting, because I know I will make it.
