Julia Koprowski '24 Recruiting Profile

I’m Julia Koprowski, and I’m a senior at Rocky Point High School.  I am a hard-working and motivated student-athlete who aspires to continue playing basketball at the collegiate level. I am an aggressive multi-positional player, and I started playing basketball in second grade. I have learned discipline, grit, tenacity, and dedication. I greatly appreciate the sport and the lessons I’ve learned along the way playing on CYO, travel, AAU, and school teams. Throughout my life, multitasking has been a struggle for me, juggling multiple sports, schoolwork, and music all at once. Basketball has helped me to hone my multitasking skills, boost my confidence, and build my work ethic and character. I enjoy being part of a team and I’m a supportive and positive teammate. I am a very coachable athlete who demonstrates respect for the coaches and players and I respond well to constructive criticism that will improve my game. The competitive and challenging aspects of basketball have always been something I enjoy. I play AAU basketball year-round, and my fitness remains a priority during the school off-season.  I am on the varsity track and field team as well as the varsity field hockey team. My passion is basketball and I would like to continue my career because I genuinely enjoy it. Since I can remember, it has been a part of my life and I am incredibly appreciative of all that it has done for me in the past and eager to see what the future provides.
