Let me start off by saying hello to all the coaches who may read this personal statement and i feel very fortunate to be able to get a chance to write to you about my goals and aspirations.
My Collegiate goals are simple at the base of it and that is to get my degree in the field of Education and be able to go to a school and teach children. I feel that is the job that I'm the best fit for. My personalty is perfect for it , I have great patience and love to help children and in what better capacity but as a teacher can i do that. While in college I would also really like to continue my journey playing basketball, a game I've played since the 3rd grade. I would consider myself extremely lucky to be able to play at the college level. When I hopefully get the chance to do that I feel that aside from being a good player I think my ability to listen and be respectful of the coaches and to get along with my teammates would greatly enhance my importance to any team I would play for. I find that what makes me a bit different than todays typical athlete is that I am not swayed by whats popular I decide to go with what I feel is right. Plus I am not run by social media sites, although I have them they are not the be all end all in my life. What is most important to me is Family! So when i'm on a team I would consider them like family and treat them and the coaches as I would my family.
