Over my years of playing varsity high school basketball I've learned that improvement is the first step to success. Being stagnant is never an option, whether if it is in the sport itself or life in general. Things change, new competition arises and new goals are to be met, if you never look to improve you'll always fall short.
From freshman year to now I've always looked to improve everything from my game to my academics. I look for my elders to guide me through challenges and push me to make myself better. I've asked various coaches, former student athletes, my teammates ,and my teachers to ensure that I'm constantly improving and pushing myself to be the best that I can be.
What sets me apart from other recruits is my desire to always get better and be better. Not just for myself but for the other people around me. I believe that your positive attitude and drive rubs off on others and then they too will want to be better. When people see this side of me it also makes me a natural leader who is trustworthy and helpful.
