Deeya Deepak '19 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach,

I come from a family of basketball players so it runs in my blood. I picked up with game in sixth grade and immediately fell in love.  I am an aspiring Criminal Lawyer with a double major in Spanish. I love to play basketball and it is one of my dreams to play at the collegiate level and maybe one day at the WNBA level. I use most of my free time to practice basketball and to keep up with my studies. My team is my family and I know that out on the court, and in everyday life I represent my family. One thing that makes me different from other candidates is my personality and my leadership. I always encourage any of my teammates when they are down, and I am there in case any one of my friends, teammates, or family needs me.I would be a good candidate for your team because I am outgoing, hardworking, trustworthy, and determined. I am a friendly, kind person but I am also aggressive and competitive when it comes to basketball. I hope you have learned a lot about me.
