Hunter West '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a humble and hardworking player and student. I have been given many leadership roles in athletics and academics because of my moral character and faith in God. Athletically, I have been playing basketball since first grade and I started playing volleyball in seventh. Basketball, however, has always held a special place in my heart as there's nothing like getting an 'and 1' or making the perfect three. Academically, I have been first in my class since seventh grade. I am currently taking three AP classes and a college-level biology class. I work hard to maintain a healthy balance of getting good grades, doing my best on and off the court, and standing strong in my relationship with God. I am different than other recruits because I manage to hold the top-rank in my class while being a leader on my volleyball and basketball varsity teams.
