Ashlyn Jones '13 Recruiting Profile

I am currently 5'9" and weigh 135 pounds. I was voted  2012/2013 Piedmont Traid 4A Conference PLayer of the year. Selected to 2012/2013 Triad High School Allstar Game. Seleted 2012/2013 all district (3rd team) . Selected All Area Team (2nd). I am a 3 time All Conference Award winner. I have been playing basketball for going on nine years.  Over the years of playing I have realized every team needs a leader. So I started working harder then ever to earn the spot of the leader, and for three of the four years that I have been playing basketball for a school team, I have been a team captain.  Ever since I started playing it has been a dream of mine to play at the college level.  I have no specific geographic regions but I would like for it to be in a nice location.  I have always wanted to play basketball for a big college but I am open to different schools.  I would either like to major in Sports Medicine, business, or pharmacy.  Some athletic goals of mine are to be able to earn playing time as a freshman, make an impact on the team, and to work hard and succeed no matter what the challenge is.
