Sadie Nester '20 Recruiting Profile

Starting off playing jv basketball in my first year of high school I learned the importance of working together as a team.  The game of basketball has not always been an easy road for me due to my 7th grade year and getting cut from the middle school team, it was devastating. I was not going to  let that get the best of me. From then on I was constantly in the gym training and getting better at my weaknesses. Went into eighth grade made the team and ended up starting,  I came into 9th grade hoping that I was going to make the varsity team but ended up getting put on jv. I used that to my advantage and kept training and getting better, ending the season with 197 points and a MVP trophy.  

Having a lot of experience in high school and AAU basketball I believe I have what it takes to take basketball to a higher level. I am looking for a college that has my academic interest and athletic interest in one. I can step up and be a leader in any situation and work super hard to make a better difference for any program.
