I’m currently a senior at Central Academy of Technology and Arts in their Medical Science Program. While I’ve only been playing basketball for the past 5 years, I’ve been playing for the Cougars Women's Varsity Team since my freshman year. Last season, I was their Team Captain and Point Guard. My team looked up to me for leadership. I helped my team win in our season-opening game and had a career high of 33 Points. Prior to finishing the season, I set CATA's single game scoring record of 42 points. I was awarded my Team's Most Valuable Player. I was also awarded All Conference and 2013-2014 All Union County Girls Basketball 2nd Team. Additionally, I was a Shooting Guard for my AAU Team, the Charlotte Lady Monarchs as well as for the AAU Team, Xtreme. I have recently been invited and have registered to play at the Elite 80 Fall Showcase which will be held in Raleigh, N.C. on October 11, 2014.
I am an unselfish team player and continue to always push myself. My dream is to play College Basketball. I believe my best fit would be at the Division II level. I ’m looking for a college where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the courts. I would like to obtain a degree in the nursing field from a college with an outstanding academic reputation and with a great sports atmosphere.
When I’m not on the courts, I’m playing Women's Varsity Soccer for CATA. I’ve been playing with them since my freshman year. I am a forward and midfielder. This past season, our Team came in 2nd in the Rocky River Conference and I led my team in goals and assists. We ended up losing in the 3rd Round at the State Playoffs.
I also enjoy playing Volleyball. I am currently playing Women's Varsity Volleyball for CATA which will end just in time for basketball season.
I love working out, shooting baskets and working on my game at the Aquatic Center as well as relaxing with my friends going out for a bite to eat or to a movie.
