I want to be recruited to play sports in college because I love to play basketball and the team atmosphere that comes with it. I also believe I have the work ethic to play athletics in college that will also help with my studies when it comes to my education.
On and off the court, I try to lead through example and by showing sportsmanship through winning and losing even when its tough. I think when fans, my teammates, opponents, and others see even just one player giving 100% and being a sportsman-like competitor, they themselves are impacted and want to give their all for their community as well.
I always try my best to balance my schoolwork and sports during the school year. It can be tough sometimes especially with far away games or long practices, but I always prioritize to get my things done and keep my grades up.
I am in involved in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), FCCLA (Future Career and Community Leaders of America), and my church youth group because I enjoy being with my friends and giving to my community in many different ways.
