Cortney Gardner '20 Recruiting Profile

I want to be remembered in this world for something I accomplished. My ultimate goal is not to just get a scholarship in basketball but to get a scholarship for my grades too. I put in work in the gym seven days a week to fulfill my goals because I do not expect to get anything handed to me. I wold be a good candidate for the team because I can score when we’re down in a game and also can set my teammate up to score. But most importantly, I play as a team and I am not a selfish player. I am different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics because I not only work hard I strive for excellence in life,  on the court and in class. I try to use everything I learn to help me mature and prepare me for any challenges or obstacles I may face because life is full of challenges and I’m ready to face them all!
