Personal Statement

My name is Jazzlyn and I think I would be a great fit for any college basketball program. I have played basketball since I was 8 and I have fell in love with the game even more throughout the years. I am a point guard but I can also play shooting guard and small forward. I work hard in the off-season and continue to improve my game everyday. I listen to what my coaches have to say and I do whatever they ask of me. My goal is to play basketball at the college level, get a quality education, and do great things for the program I attend. To achieve my goal, I will continue to work hard and never give up. Thank you for taking the time to read my statement.

I have been playing club basketball for 5 years. I played for Gunners Elite for 1 year, Hidden Gems for 1 year, NWO Basketball for 3 years and currently Always 100 All-In 2027. I had previously played for Always 100 for 3 years. Some of the years overlapped with teams. I played on multiple teams because each team put me in a different role/position which has helped me to become a more well rounded player as well as build my IQ.

I train with Greg Williamson in Lima, Ohio. He works with me on being more confident when I have the ball in my hands to be able to create for myself and my teammates. He also helps me get better with my skill set, work on my footwork and getting a quicker release on my jump shot.
