Personal Statement
Although my major is still undecided, I have several different career interests in mind, al of which involve health care. I strive for success, whether it is in the classroom, on the court, or in life, an I am determined to rise to the top. I don't expect to be given a anything freely; I am willing to earn it. Coming from a family that struggles financially, I know the value of hard work. After tearing my ACL at the beginning of my sophomore season, I have become much stronger mentally and physically. I have been raised with strong values and a good work ethic. My three years of experience as a varsity player, and my three years on the superintendents list set me apart from other recruits. I have received honors academically and athletically throughout my high school career. I have received 11 outstanding student awards, and I have maintained a 4.0 GPA for over eight years. Athletically, I received High Desert League First Team 2012-13, 2012-13 District Tournament First Team, Scoring Leader Award 2012-13, All-State Honorable Mention 2014-15, High Desert League First Team 2014-15, 2014-15 District Tournament First Team, and MVP 2014-15.
