Abril Bowser '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abril Bowser and I am a 5’3 guard  (Class of 2023) for Abington Senior High School located in Abington, Pennsylvania (Montgomery County). Team Final/BBA AAU (2023)

On the court I am known for my ability to shoot from range, ball handling and my defense. I pride myself on my defense. I am often called a “pesky” defender by my opponents. I am a dynamic impact player that often set the tone for my teammates on both sides of the ball. From knocking down three’s to creating turnovers, starting the fast break, pushing the ball down the court to my teammates. I am not a selfish player and will do what it takes to give my team a chance to win (grabbing rebounds, chasing loose balls, never giving up on a play). I believe in hard work and feel that nothing is given but earned. 

It is my  goal to attend college and play  basketball at the collegiate level. I plan to study law or criminal justice. I understand that doesn’t come easy but I am dedicated to making sure  that I am physically and mentally prepared to reach my goals. I train hard daily with my basketball  team as well as with my basketball skills trainer. I just want to be a valuable piece to the college that I attend and an asset to my team.
