Haley Schaef '12 Recruiting Profile

I am at 5'8" senior from Albion, Pennsylvania. I have been playing basketball since 3rd grade and have had experience through AAU programs and Varsity level play. I'm a point guard/shooting guard who loves to handle the ball and get it to the hoop or to a teammate at the right time. I was the pick for 1st Team All-State (1A) during my junior year and also the Region 4 co-player of the year. I also earned MVP at a Christmas tournament scoring 31 points this past year.

I have had the desire to play basketball in college since first falling in love with the game in 3rd grade, I knew I would never want to stop playing. Basketball is my passion in life and I have the determination to win and to continue to improve in my own skills. I am open to explore all types of schools, but would prefer  to stay along the East Coast because of the location and that is where my family lives. The type of school that I am looking for would be a school where academics are highly valued and where the student-athlete is comfortable and can ask for extra help if need be. I am open to all division levels and have the goal of starting as a freshman. I want to be the best player I can for the team and will work hard at anything that is put in front of me.
