Personal Statement
My name is Lexey Shick and I am currently a Junior at Union High School. Every since I was a little kid I loved playing sports, and still do to this day. I am involved in other sports at my school including volleyball and track, but I have an eye for love with basketball. I have been on the varsity team since my freshman year and it was the greatest experience. I've learned so much and still continuing to learn even more to get better. I am one of the captains for my team this year, for my coach picked me because of my great leadership skills. Having great chemistry with your teammates is such an important task, so you play as a team. Also, defense wins games. No matter if you're down by 15 points or up by 15, you never give up because anything is possible if you set your mind to it.
