My name is Mikaela Reese. I attend Souderton Area High School where I will be graduating in the year 2020. I am excited to start this new journey in life where I hope to learn more about myself as an athlete and student. I am a 6-foot varsity starter playing both center and power forward. I have been working on my 3 pointers all season as well as my ball handling. I began playing basketball mid-way through elementary school. I started out playing with friends for fun, however, I automatically fell in love with the game. My education is very important to me. I strive to achieve not only athletically but academically as well. I have maintained a steady 3.8 GPA throughout my junior year taking academic, honor and AP classes. I plan to major in Health and Physical Education for 4 years. I also have a goal of getting my Masters degree. Not only do I partake in basketball but I am truly honored to be apart of our Unified Track and Field team, and I am blessed to work with such amazing kids. I also contributed to playing softball my freshman and sophomore year in high school. I take pride in my ability to be an encouraging teammate and friend. I also am devoted on and off the court, have a hard work ethic, fantastic sportsmanship, and have a passion for the game of basketball.
