Lillian DaSilveira '26 Recruiting Profile

Basketball is a team sport that I feel takes a lot of dedication, strength, focus, and confidence. I have been playing basketball since the 4th grade. However, my passion for the sport began to intensify in the 6th grade. That is when I started playing AAU for Dawan Robinson and his organization Life of Hoops. During this time I learned that hard work and dedication equals success. I have always been a hard worker both in school and on the court and I contribute that to the great work ethic I have. I play basketball year round but I have set a goal for myself that I get my hands on a ball each day. This may be a practice, a group training session, 1:1 lesson or just me in my yard shooting. My goal for college is to play at the D2 or D3 level. I know I have it in me to play in college. I am a very coachable player who has a good attitude on and off the court and is a great teammate. But like all people I have things that I work on daily to improve. I feel comfortable playing any position on the court. I tend to play as a small forward on my AAU team and at times all five postions on my High School team. I always  do my best both on and off the court. Playing basketball is something I truly want to continue doing in college no matter what level it is at.
