What makes me a good candidate: I am extremely coach-able, which means that if a coach or teammate is giving me any advice on how to do something better, I will take it to heart and I will work on it until it is perfect. Secondly, I am a very hard-worker; if something needs to be done I will do it no matter what it takes. Whether it is sprinting in practices and games when I am dead tired or going hard at the rim when there is a 6'5" girl standing in front of it, I will do it. A great thing about my character is that I am always full of positive energy that I love to share. If you walk into a gym and I am in it I guarantee you will hear me cheering on someone else, even if I don't know them. Because of this, I am a very supportive teammate. I cheer on my team, I make sure they keep their head up, I make sure they are focused, and most importantly, I make sure they believe in themselves and the team. I know that this is very important because teamwork is the most important thing in the game of basketball, and as soon as an athlete doesn't believe in their team or themselves, they fall apart. Academically, I am always trying to push myself to do the best that I can. I am always on top of my work and I am always making sure I am completing things on time. I have always been able to meet my goals academically. I am not afraid to take on a challenge.
