Hi my name is Delaney Ingram!
When I was five years old I picked up a basketball and have loved the game ever since!
I love the energy from the bench and the crowd, the intensity in a close game, spending time with my teammates and coaches that have become a part of my family, the practices leading up to a big game, and the feeling after a game knowing that I put everything I had on the court. I love it all.
Throughout the years of playing basketball I have learned things that help me, not only in basketball, but in all facets of my life. I have learned that if you lose or things haven’t gone your way, it isn’t the end of the world and there is no time for pouting. All you can do is attack the next day with a positive attitude to improve your character and your game.
I have also learned that to get where you want to be you need to give 110% every time you get a chance, whether it’s in practice, a game, open gym, or the classroom, to help yourself and your team.
I want to attend a college that not only has a good basketball program, but a good academic program, as well. My academics are very important to me and I want to be somewhere where I can play basketball, increase my knowledge and achieve my academic goals.
Thank you for viewing my page. I would appreciate an opportunity to talk with you about how I can help your program meet its goals!
