Personal Statement

Since the first time I picked up a basketball I fell in love with the game. I believe that I have what it takes to play at the college level, it’s my dream. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.

I have strong inside skills, soft hands, love playing defense and a high basketball IQ. I am a team leader and lead by example on and off the court with positive actions while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and put team goals ahead of my own. I strive to be one of the hardest working players on the court at all times. I love challenges and adversity, they only make me stronger.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a solid GPA. I am very involved with my church, family and youth. I enjoy 4H and Ag activates.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all avenues and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
