My name is Sarah Hathorn and I will be graduating from A&M Consolidated High School in College Station, TX in fall 2022.
I have loved sports since I was a young girl and played on competitive travel softball and soccer teams since the age of 6. At the age of 10, I played shortstop for my team in the California State Championship Tournament. Later that year, my family moved to Texas, and I was introduced to basketball where I fell in love with the sport.
This will be my fourth year to play at the varsity level in high school. My hope is to find a college program with outstanding athletics and academics. I am in the top 5% of my class and plan to practice medicine in the future. This summer my skills improved by playing AAU ball as well as daily trips to the neighborhood park for pick-up games with players of all different skill levels. I have also been working with a personal trainer multiple times a week to improve my strength, power and agility for basketball at the collegiate level. I’ve already noticed improvement after only 3 months and am excited to see what I can achieve by this time next year.
My passion and work ethic for this sport has made me a dangerous competitor, and I'm excited to play at the next level.
