Yazmine Kellough '18 Recruiting Profile

My number one goal is to achieve a degree in the field of  Biochemistry.  My ultimate goal is to become a doctor.  I'm am a great candidate for any team because I play bigger than my size. I have the heart and soul of a 6'0 player stuffed into my 5'4" frame.  I hold myself to a high standard and my teammates generally begin to follow my lead on my strong work ethic on and off the court. I was selected this season to play on an Elite AAU basketball team sponsored by Nike and Blue Star National. We will be traveling across the country to compete against other Elite status teams. When I'm not playing basketball or studying,I enjoy working in the community to help the less fortunate or simply someone needing an extra hand. I am a dedicated student athlete working hard to be in the top 4% of my class. In the summer of 2017, I plan to visit colleges of my interest, play basketball, and volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital.
