Tori Gittens '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tori Gittens. I am a 6'0" shooting guard/small forward for Gunter High School in Gunter, TX. I am a 3-year Varsity starter for my high school basketball team, earning 1st Team All-District honors my freshman year and District Offensive MVP my sophomore year.  I also have a strong academic record; I was recently inducted into the National Honor Society, earned Academic All-State and Academic All-District awards with a 3.8 GPA.

It is a goal of mine to earn an athletic scholarship and attend a university that is academically suited to a career in the field of study that I want to pursue. I believe what sets me apart from other 2019 recruits is: my athleticism, being a fierce competitor and unselfish team player, and I constantly put the time in to improve my game away from practice. In my opinion, my ceiling to get better as a player is very high due to my consistent, hard work ethic and dedication. I believe that I can make an immediate impact on any team due to my coachability, loyalty, and willingness to learn.
