My name is Olivia Ferguson I am a ninth-grade student at Clear Lake High School in Houston, Texas, where I excel both academically and athletically. I am running on the JV Cross Country team and taking AP classes. For basketball, I’ve traditionally played as a power forward or center, showcasing my strength and skill on the court.
Academically, last year, I was part of the National Junior Honor Society, and part of a prestigious science magnet program taking honors courses in science, English, and social studies. My grades (95, 98, 88, 90, 95, and 94) translate to a GPA of approximately 3.64 on a 4.0 scale.
In eighth grade I was selected for the Texas All State Game and was honored to represent Seabrook Intermediate School.
I dream of playing college basketball, with the University of Houston as my top choice to stay close to my hometown heroes, but open to many others. I am interested in studying athletic training and physical therapy.
I aspire to one day become a lead trainer for the WNBA or NBA, combining my love of sports with my dedication to helping others.
Growing up in a home with biological, adopted, and foster siblings has shaped me into an empathetic and wise young woman. My "old soul" perspective, creativity, and passion for art and singing complement my athletic and academic pursuits. My unique blend of talents and experiences make me standout both on and off the court.
I look forward to speaking with you.
