Catherine Leija '17 Recruiting Profile

I started playing basketball when I was five years old and since then I knew I wanted to go as far as I possibly can, by doing what I love most. Growing up it became a goal of mine to play basketball for a Division I University.

I have strong ball handling skills, crafty on the court, and I'm always making sure my team is organized, prepared, and composed in every situation we face on the floor. I'm open to constructive criticism from my coaches and teammates and I am goal oriented on and off the court.

I aspire to attend a University that can give me an opportunity where I can reach my full potential in the classroom and on the court and ultimately matches the highest level of competition possible.
