Kennedy Farrell '26 Recruiting Profile

I am the recruit you are looking for. My passion is basketball. I have been playing sports since I was three years old. Out of every sport I have tried, basketball has always been my top choice. I believe I can compete at the college level, and I hope to encourage others and be a positive role model. 

I am a great candidate for the team because I am coachable. When I play, it’s not about me, it’s about the team. I am a utility player; I accept any challenge my coach gives me. I see the court, handle the ball well and find the open play. I make difficult passes; finish the plays and I am an outside shooter. 

I am not just an athlete; I am also an honor student. I currently have a 4.2 GPA and was awarded for having the highest average in my Sophomore class with a 100.714. Before I transferred to a private school, I was ranked 42 out of 1,082 students in my freshman class. I was nominated to attend the Academic Achievement Games in Chicago for my grades and athleticism in 2023. 

I earned All District Honorable Mention at a 6A Public High School. During my sophomore year, our team placed second at the 4A State Championship. I was awarded All Tournament and was the leading scorer for our team. I am a multisport athlete. I play Varsity Basketball and Softball. I want to continue to grow as a player and plan on participating in Cross Country in the Fall of 2024.

I am the person for your program because I do not give up in tough situations or when I am being pushed. I can bounce back from a bad play and help myself and our team get back in the game. I believe in myself and will work hard to show my coaches how I can benefit the team. I hope you will give me the opportunity to show you the person I am on and off the court.
