2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I started playing basketball in 5th grade and fell in love with the sport and have been playing ever since. I've been training with an amazing personal basketball coach and she has helped me grow as a person and as an athlete and has prepared me for the challenges of playing at the collegiate level.
An obstacle I have had to overcome is that I am dyslexic and I am very proud that I have been able to overcome the challenges that come with it and have excelled academically.
Basketball has given me move confidence not only on the court but in my daily life as well and has made me stronger mentally and physically and given me strong leadership skills. I believe this confidence I've gained and the leadership skills I've acquired along with my strong work ethic, strength academically and integrity will make me a great addition to your team.
