My name is Jaqulynn Tully. I'm currently a Senior at Woodsboro High School in Texas. I have an undying passion for basketball. It has become a huge part of my everyday life. As an athlete who has overcome many obstacles over the years I have chosen to pursue kinesiology to help younger athletes to find their love for basketball as I did. My coach has impacted my life in the most positive way possible. This was through basketball. I was encouraged to work hard each and every day to fulfill my dream of playing at the collegiate level in my near future. I would love to become this type of coach for a student athlete on and off the court. My freshman year was rocky as I started my varsity basketball career. I faced many challenges proving to my coach and myself that I deserved to be on the court. I ultimately earned an award for the biggest heart on the team. As I started my sophomore year I became more comfortable with my peers and started to progress. My junior year of high school was the peak of my basketball career as I became the team leader and stepped up to lead my team to our successes. This was a privilege to uphold and be accountable for my team to depend on me. I was honored to be the team's MVP and be nominated for Miss Texas Basketball player of the week. I had also earned a top spot as one of the most charges taken in the county by the end of my season. I am looking forward to playing my last High School basketball games by giving it all I have. LAST ONE BEST ONE!
