Maleah Nelson '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a very shifty guard and one of the best ball handlers in my grade if not State, with more than one moves, depending who I play against, I usually look at game films and know my competition and watch tendencies and adjust as the game continues. I can read tags, and an all around dynamic player with nba range and over 40% three point shooting and other moves at the rim. I have been called the scrappiest/stingy player on defense and not letting up as well as efficient offensive player. While I may have a height disadvantage I make up in many others in defense, offense, ball handling, passing, steal, boxing out, rebounds and with my outside shooting with college and NBA range 3s. I also spend an extra 1-2 hours a day after practices in refining my game, mental strength, finishing, new skills and shooting. 

I continue to improve my game by practicing daily with my Dad shooting from all areas of the court as well as ball handling, defending, finishing moves and making better reads of the game.  I like to play pickup ball at the Rec center with boys, and adults weekly. In my spare time I enjoy playing the piano and drums and learning new tricks on my scooter.
