Colby Casey '22 Recruiting Profile

I am still attending high school so therefore I am  deciding and exploring what majors I am interested in. This past year I was honors first semester and high honors second and third semester. What makes me a good candidate for a team is I am very athletic, I have quickness, all my coaches in the past have praised my work ethic, and overall I am known to be a great teammate.  I have had my most success on teams that score a lot on transition, my hope is to find a team that plays uptempo vs strictly half court offense. I am a good defensive player as well, evidenced by my coach assigning me to guard the other teams highest scores.  I feel that I am a good teammate and have good character.   I was named captain my Junior year, my coach said she named me captain because I set the tone at every practice, I practiced hard no matter what, and I was a good teammate because I am always complimentary and supportive of teammates.  My junior year I won most Improved player for soccer and basketball, my soccer coach told me I was the spirt of the team and that lead my teammates and I to great success. Basketball is my passion and my goal is to play in college.   I improve myself everyday to get closer to that point. Prep school has allowed me the experience to manage my time and develop good study habits which produced high honors.  Getting good grades is a priority for me.
