Going to the Washington State Championships was the biggest highlight of my freshman season at Washougal High School and being able to be a part of the schools history. Although we placed 7th, it was an amazing experience and it made me want to further my skills as a point guard and shooting guard to be able to have the team get better and place at a higher level. With these skills and abilities under my own effort, I believe I am capable of playing at the college level.
Coming in as a freshman I knew that I had to earn my spot and nothing was going to be handed to me. I had to be a leader, have a very strong work ethic, a great teammate, and have communication skills. Although playing basketball is a priority, so is academics and I am looking for a college and program that will suit me in both of those ways. I believe that I will make a strong impact on the environment of your program and community by being an outstanding teammate and student.
