Baylee Young '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Baylee Young and I am a 5' 9” combo guard at Gig Harbor High School.  My Sophomore season at Gig Harbor High, I was chosen as team Captain and was selected as the only Sophomore in the SPSL 4A to  First Team All League. My freshman season I was selected 2nd Team All League 3A South Sound Conference. For my high school basketball team, I play with strong communication skills, a vision for the court, hitting the open player, getting rebounds and anticipating steals.  I love playing defense and the challenge of locking up the opposing teams top players as well as scoring from all places on the court.  I am a highly motivated, self disciplined player and student maintaining a 3.7 GPA.  I am extremely coachable with a desire to always be learning and developing my skills.
