I am a true student athlete, achieving Year-Around All Academic Honors inside the classroom as well as being a three sport varsity athlete. A degree in Physical Therapy and certifications that support overall health is the course of study I envision for myself. I have been exploring this interest further by enrolling in Running Start at our local community college (Clark College) taking Physiology and Anatomy, and Mind, Body, and Health.
From a young age I have had a love for basketball that exceeds all other activities in my life. I am a fundamentally sound point guard, who as a sophomore last season at La Center High School averaged 18.8 points, 6 assists and 5.6 steals per game. Although these are solid numbers, my greatest pride comes from bringing up the game of my teammates and distributing the ball in a way that allows for team success and growth. The highlight videos and complete game against Castle Rock during the 2012-2013 season are a good representation of my skills. Although we lost to Castle Rock, their team went undefeated until losing the 1A State Championship game finishing 2nd in the state.
My dream growing up has always been to play in college. I'm dedicated to doing what it takes to get to that level, continue to grow as a player and give back to the game that I love. Basketball is more than a sport to me, it is the vehicle I have used to learn many life lessons and build confidence to face all the challenges life has to offer.
Please consider this information as you look to build your team in upcoming years.
