I have been playing basketball since I was five years old and I am currently a freshmen in high school. I have a goal to reach the college level of basketball.
It has been a life long dream of mine so I am willing to do everything to reach that goal.
My strengths are speed, ball handling skills, aggressiveness, and coach-ability. As captain of my JV high school team, I am a team leader and have great communication skills.
I strive to bring out the best in my teammates and myself. I was voted most inspirational by my high school team. As point guard, I have the positivity and leadership skills to bring a team to success. As a recruit, I am highly motivated and only expect the best from myself and others.
I am a hard worker and am involved in my high school basketball team, a select AAU basketball team, high school soccer and track. I work out at the gym and am always looking for ways to improve on my athleticism.
Off the court and in the classroom, I strive to do great. I maintain a high GPA and have been inducted into the Junior Honor Society at my school. I have received WIAA Scholastic Awards in basketball and soccer. Currently I am taking a college prep course called Avid. I am also involved in volunteering my time as a coach for youth basketball camps, food banks, and animal shelters. I have helped raise money through car washes, food serving, and ticket sales for my AAU basketball team. I am also involved in my church's youth group.
It would be a great honor to play basketball for a college where I can push myself on the court and in the classroom. I will strive to be a role model to my peers and my community. Once I am recruited, I have a strong conviction to seize every opportunity given to me. I will utilize it to its full potential.
