As a Senior on Varsity, being on my high schools Varsity team and winning the South Puget Sound League (SPSL) Championship for 2 years was the highlight of my high school career. I have had to work really hard to get to this point. Even though I have played basketball since 3rd grade, every new team I’ve been on for AAU or school, I have had to prove myself. My personality is calm and quiet so I have to step it up on the court and show my competitive/determined side. In elementary I had a speech problem and had to go to classes to correct. Playing sports and especially basketball, help me to find my voice. It forced me to push myself, become more open and vocal to work as a teammate. I have become determined to go after what I want and work through adversity. As a Captain of my AAU basketball team and starting guard for my school I hope to bring the best out of others and myself. Going from having speech classes to now being on Honor Society and being a three sport athlete, I am looking for a program that supports Athletics and Academics both equally. I feel my leadership, skills, high standards, and confidence will enhance your program. I am willing to put in the effort and positive attitude to achieve the highest results possible for your team!
