Joyce Harrell '15 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

                I am a student-athlete because as much as I care about basketball I also care about being a good student. To be an athlete you have to be a student because if you don’t have the grades then you won’t be eligible to play.

                I have been MVP the last 3 years for my school in basketball playing at Madrona K-8. Leading my team, through a 14-0 season and winning the championship, I have also taken another love in a sport which is track. I have won the 200,400 and 200 4x4 relay in the metro middle school category.  Due to this performance I received the most inspirational award.

                I think of myself as a leader because I have the gift of helping others to succeed in what they want to do and that’s how I lead. I do very well with other people because I help people build relationship which creates strong teams.
