Ava Bumstead '23 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing the game I love since the 5th grade and my passion and commitment  hasn't waned! I always try to find ways to better myself, my teammates and have fun. I've always been a team player and fill whatever roll  the coach wants me to do to put our  team in a position to excel, from playing the 1-5  positions to leading the bench if needed.  I'm a natural scorer but  pride myself on defense.  I'm a leader but I don't have to be the star, I'm always eager to be in position take the final shot! You'll find that I'm easy to coach and get along well with all my teammates. To me basketball is all about bonding with my Ohana  and experiencing the highs and lows together! Coming from Hawaiian decent it's important for me and my family to work together for the betterment of the group.

My basketball  IQ is high along with my off court academics, I work hard and want to achieve great things in my life and I would love hoops to be part of that journey.
