I want to share a quote from Vince Lombardi, who said, “Leaders are made, they are not born.  This quote especially speaks to me as I am inspired to push myself every day, in order to live out my dreams both on and off the basketball court. To me this quote specifically refers to practice, consistency and repetition. I believe that positive results occur when you’re willing to put in the hard work required and stay and teachable.

The honors and recognition that I have received as a student athlete, have kept me humble and have always inspired me to continue playing at a higher level while pushing myself to get better. The awards I am most proud of are those that showcase my leadership and ability to be a good team mate such as; MVP, Coaches Award, Team Captain and the Distinguished Scholar Awards. I pride myself on my ability to balance my academic successes while also giving 100% effort on the court. There is nothing more exciting than Game Days and competing; however, recognition and support empowers me and allows me to self-reflect.

I will soon get the opportunity to experience college life. I get excited, pressing fast forward and looking into my future. I think about the day when I graduate and have earned my Business Degree. My degree in business will provide me the versatility, and flexibility to set a professional trail in the areas of Real Estate and Investing. I am looking for a program that is a good fit for me academically and athletically.

My being a successful college athlete will give me with the ability to honor and represent my school, my coaches, my family and myself in a very meaningful way.  I am confident that I can add tremendous impact to your program due to my Strong Work Ethic, IQ, Defensive Mindset, and Athleticism. I am Versatile at the Guard Position, as I have played the 1, 2, and 3. I am coachable and take pride in my ability to be a great teammate. I am committed to continuing to push myself to get stronger physically, and mentally, while maximizing my potential.
