Sophie Brown '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophie Brown, I am a 2026 shooting guard from Wisconsin with hopes of playing college basketball after high school. I am currently a Junior playing on Varsity. I am a starter for my team, in part due to my strong work ethic and determination to always do my best and improve my game every single day. I am a great 3-point shooter with a long range, strong hustle and a team-first mentality. Both my length and wingspan make me valuable for rebounds and my consistency with free throws makes me a serious contender.  I earned my schools Father Strange award in 2024 for the highest free throw percentage of all Varsity players on my team, as well as was awarded Most Improved Varsity player for the 2023-2024 season.

I also feel that education will always come first and pride myself on my very strong academic focus, having been in accelerated/gifted classes since elementary school and being placed on the WI Academic All State Team For 2023 and 2024 with a cumulative GPA of 3.725. My strong work ethic on the court spills over into the classroom and has allowed me to have academic success as well as success continuing to improve as a basketball player.
