Kalina Winslow '21 Recruiting Profile

 My name is Kalina Winslow and I am a 5’9” junior at Indian Trail High School (Class of 2021). I have been a starting point guard/shooting guard on varsity since my sophomore year.  My goal as a Student- Athlete is to play collegiate level basketball while pursing a business degree. My passion and desire to be the best reflects both in the classroom and on the court. I have a 3.98 GPA and my goal is to always strive to be the best on the court and in life as well.  One of my biggest attributes on the court is my jumpshot. I have extended range and can shoot from anywhere on the court. This past season, I finished in the top 10 in Division 1 for 3-pointers made and led my team in scoring the past two years.  When my shot doesn’t fall, I am able to drive and use a variety of moves to attack the basket. I can use my ball handling skills to easily go through defenders and kick out to an open player. I’m very passionate about the game, coachable, and eager to get better.
