Josephine Tenuta '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Josephine Tenuta. I’m a hard-working shooter, who currently leads my conference in 3s. 

My goal is to play basketball at a higher competitive level in college, as I pursue a degree in education. I am a junior and 3-year varsity starter at Tremper High School. I also have played on an elite AAU team during the spring and summer seasons for 7 years.  

I’ve played basketball since I was in first grade for school and on AAU teams since the fourth grade. I love the constant movement, ultra-competitive, and fast pace of the game. I have an incredible work ethic, and am always striving to better my game. 

During my freshman season I received honorable mention rewards from my conference and All County.  As a sophomore, I received a 3rd team All Conference award and an All County award.

I am just as competitive in the classroom. I currently have an average GPA of 4.0. 

My ultimate goal is to become an elementary education teacher. I also intend to share my love of basketball with future generations by becoming a coach.
