Michelle Nieman '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michelle Nieman and I am a sophmore at Oshkosh West highschool. My goal is to play basketball in college, and I have been working hard at it since i was in second grade. I play a lot and when it comes time to practice or play a game I take it serious and don't fool around. I like being a good role model for the team and being a leader out on the court. My biggest accomplishment was when I played for my OWBC traveling team in seventh and eighth grade, I won all state in our state tournament that consisted of teams from all around the state. If I could pick one college to play basketball for, it would be Tennessee. I also like Marquette, but I would be happy just playing anywhere. I usually am the last person to stay at practice to work on things that I need to improve on and to be the best basketball player that I can be. My desired major is to be a surgeon. I get good grades in school and my teachers don't have a problem with me. If I play in college, I want to help the team achieve higher goals and to have high expectations for our team.
