Mikayla Brouette '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mikayla Brouette.  I am in the class of 2017.  I attend Pardeeville High School in Wisconsin.  I have the goal to continue playing basketball at the college level.  My love for the game is never-ending.  I hope to have the opportunity to continue playing while attending college.  I am a point guard.  I led my team in scoring, assists and steals.  I was named first team all conference as a sophomore after being name honorable mention all conference as a freshman.  I am a passionate and hard working player who is striving to improve my skills.  I am also a team player.

These attributes also help with my success in the classroom.  I am a high honor roll student. My goal is to be valedictorian of my high school class.  At this time I am interested in pursuing a collegiate degree in the medical sciences or education.

Besides basketball, I run cross country and track. I was also a gymnast for 10 years.  As a varsity cross country runner, I earned 2nd team all conference in cross country as a freshman and sophomore.  In track, I hurdle, triple jump, long jump, and run the 400 meter dash.  As a sophomore I took 6th place at the state meet in triple jump.  My other sports help me with balance, speed, strength, stamina and jumping ability which benefit me while playing basketball.
