Ella Jordan '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a shooting guard from West Salem, WI and will graduate in the class of 2022. I am proud to represent the West Salem High School Panthers which is a division 2 school in the Coulee Conference. I currently play AAU for Wisconsin Playmakers, and have played for La Crosse Elevate in the past.

BASKETBALL EXPERIENCE

My Freshman year I earned a roll on the varsity team as a shooting guard. Unfortunately, my season was cut short when I broke my hand during our 8th game. I persevered and never missed a practice, shot everyday left handed, and returned healthy for playoffs.

I worked extremely hard in the off season to improve and returned much stronger as a Sophomore. Our team won 15 games and set the school record for scoring average per game. I led the team in scoring with 12.6 points per game, shot 77.6% from the free throw line, and made 32 3-pointers (34.4%). The Coulee Conference recognized me with 2nd team All-Conference.

My Junior year I earned a bigger leadership role on the team. We finished a shortened season at 11-2  and conference champions! I led the team in scoring with 16.2 points per game, shot 79.1% from the free throw line, and improved my defense to average almost 4 steals per game. I was recognized with 1st team All-Conference, Conference Player of the Year, All-State Honorable Mention, and 1st team All-Area La Crosse Tribune.

ABOUT ME

I am a three-sport athlete competing in volleyball, basketball, and soccer. I have a 3.96 GPA and my education is very important to me. My goal is to continue working towards graduating from high school with a High Honors Diploma. I'm a member of the National Honor Society and have always achieved High Honor Roll. I love watersport hobbies, including time wakeboarding and paddle boarding. My strengths include being confident, competitive, reliable, focused, friendly and honest. Hard work is what I do.

COLLEGE OBJECTIVE

My objective is to play competitive basketball in college. I am open to a variety of school sizes and geographic regions. I am a team player and would like to make an impact on a college-level team. I believe in the importance of communication, which makes me a strong leader on and off the court. I always give it my all and play as hard as I can in practice and games.
