Ava Paulsen '27 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play beach volleyball at the collegiate level, and I am currently training year-round to make this goal a reality. I exclusively play beach volleyball because my heart belongs to the sand.  I chose beach instead of indoor because I believe I thrive in this environment.   The mental, physical and environmental demands of beach volleyball are second to none.  I love being involved in every play, having to excel in each and every skillset, with no chance of sitting on the bench.  I would like to be a part of a program where I can make an impact as a team player, an ethical athlete and find my path in life through challenging academics, as I know academics are just as important when it comes to competing at the next level. I am a straight A student and academics are very important to my future.  Performing at this level is my dream and I will continue to strive to make this happen.
