Melissa Cormack '24 Recruiting Profile

I have enjoyed playing beach volleyball so much for the past 3 years so much after switching from club volleyball after 5 years. I love meeting new people, being in the sun, and playing a challenging yet fun sport. For college, my dream is to attend a school on the West Coast, preferably California, where I can play outdoor beach volleyball and spend time outdoors all year round, which I cannot do in Chicago. I’d also like to study an area Environmental Science, as I am very passionate about the environment and sustainability. I believe I am a great teammate, I always have energy and love to celebrate good plays, but I also think I am supportive when mistakes are being made.
