Personal Statement

I work hard, play hard and leave everything on the court!  I love the game of volleyball and have played every position at some time or another during my volleyball career.  Whether it's my regular school season in the fall, club during the winter or sand during the summer, I am ready to play.  I am a three sport athlete at my school so I work out and practice all year around.  This keeps my mind and my body in peak condition.  It also keeps me flexible and able to adapt to lots of different situations in sports and in life.  Being so involved in my school, both academically and athletically, has helped me manage my time and maintain my composure.  I show up to practice and games with a coachable mindset and a winning attitude and I completely understand that hard work and dedication are necessary to stay ahead of the game.  As a freshman I played on the sophomore team all season as a 6 rotation OH.  I feel like this gives me a much better understanding and perspective for all of the positions on our team.  As a sophomore I was a starting OH on the Varsity team. This year as a junior, I am the starting 6 rotation OH and am considered the focus player on our team. I try to help our team maintain a positive attitude whether we win or we lose.  It's important for me to be respected by and respectful of my peers as well as my teachers, coaches and parents.  I'm a dedicated teammate and I would love to continue my volleyball career at the collegiate level.  I feel like I would bring an open mind and a winning attitude to any team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
